Sometimes it seems that the more options we give a donor, the better. Too many options can complicate the process and distract the donor.
With each new question a donor is more and more likely to abandon the process either because they are annoyed or question their decision to donate.
They intend to “come back later”—but later never comes.
We understand the desire to have as much info as possible about your donors but a good balance will yield lower abandon rates and more donations for you.
By simply giving the donor the option to click on “one time” or “monthly” simplifies the process therefore keeping your donor engaged.
