Why am I getting a 403 status error when trying to verify my Apple merchant ID file?

If you encounter a 403 permission error while attempting to verify your Apple merchant ID, it indicates that the Apple merchant ID file is visible on your website at https://abc.org/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association, but Stripe may not have sufficient access to retrieve and verify the file. In order to resolve this issue, please contact your web developer or a professional who can modify access permissions for the file. They will need to ensure that Stripe and Apple have adequate access to the file before you try to verify it again.

If access to the file is restricted by IP addresses, you will need to whitelist the IP addresses associated with Stripe and Apple Pay to enable the verification process. For the list of the IP addresses, please follow these links: Stripe, Apple Pay
