Refunds made in Stripe

Refunds made in Stripe do not sync back to the pertinent donation in Fundraise Up. Please always refund donations via Fundraise Up when available.

We do know that in some cases, like partial refunds, those may not be possible in Fundraise Up's interface, and that in those cases you may have to use Stripe's controls. However, please be aware that any refund activity that happens in Stripe outside of Fundraise Up's controls will not be reflected in the Fundraise Up dashboard or any exports/integrations based on Fundraise Up data.
