Express checkout for mobile donations

Supporters on mobile can now skip typing their personal information when paying with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal.

When making one-time donations on mobile, supporters see wallet buttons at the top of the personal information step in Checkout Modal. Which buttons appear depends on what's available on their device and enabled in your settings — Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, or a combination of these.

Tapping a button skips manual entry of personal information and takes them straight to the payment screen, where they confirm the donation amount. When they authorize payment, their name, email, and address are pulled automatically from the payment method they chose.

This cuts down on typing, speeds up checkout, and reduces form errors on mobile.

Availability:

  • Mobile devices only (not desktop)
  • Checkout Modal only (not Campaign Pages)
  • One-time donations only (not recurring)
  • Requires at least one of Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal enabled in your settings
  • Won't appear if “Title” field is required in campaign configuration
