More recurring plan data now available in HubSpot

Recurring donation data from Fundraise Up now syncs to the Subscription object in HubSpot, instead of the custom object used previously.

This change gives organizations access to more built‑in HubSpot tools, reports, and automations, and removes the limitations of a custom object. It also provides more data for each plan, which helps with segmenting supporters and tracking recurring revenue.

The update adds the following recurring plan fields to the Subscription object in HubSpot:

  • Amount
  • Campaign
  • Cancellation reason
  • Converted amount
  • Converted amount before fees covered
  • Created date
  • Currency
  • Custom fields
  • Frequency
  • ID
  • Next installment date
  • Payment method
  • Previous installment date
  • Recurring amount upgrade link
  • Recurring cost coverage upgrade link
  • Status
  • Supporter is anonymous

Action required: reconnect HubSpot integration

To get the new recurring plan data in HubSpot, you must reconnect your HubSpot integration:

  1. In Fundraise Up’s Dashboard, go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Click HubSpot.
  3. Scroll down and click Disconnect.
  4. Go to Settings > Integrations again.
  5. Click Add integration.
  6. Select HubSpot.
  7. Follow the instructions on the page to complete the connection.

Once you have reconnected, we will begin migrating your data. This process will not affect sync speed.

We will follow up with any organization that has not reconnected to coordinate the migration.
