Prefill Virtual Terminal with URL parameters

Virtual Terminal now supports URL parameters, so you can create links that open with specific fields already selected. When operators process hundreds of donations during high-volume events, prefilled fields eliminate repetitive data entry and reduce errors.

What you can prefill:

• Campaign
• Designation
• Custom fields (like tracking codes, partner IDs, or source information)

URL parameters are particularly useful for TV and radio fundraising campaigns where every donation needs to go to a specific campaign with consistent tracking. Instead of training operators to remember which campaign to select or which codes to enter, you give them a link that handles it automatically.

You can also lock prefilled fields, which prevents operators from accidentally changing critical information. When an operator clicks your link, they see the campaign, designation, or custom field already selected and grayed out. They focus entirely on collecting supporter details and payment information.
