Separate salutation and title fields for Germany and Austria
Organizations in Germany and Austria can now ask supporters for a salutation and an academic title in two separate fields. Until now, one field combined both, such as Herr Dr.
Supporters can choose Herr, Frau, Divers, or Familie as their salutation. For the title, they can pick one from a list, such as Dr. or Mag.a, or type their own. You can show each field and make it required separately in the Supporter section of the campaign settings.

The salutation and the title are saved as two values. Your team can see and edit them separately in the Dashboard and Virtual Terminal, and supporters can update them in Donor Portal. Both values appear as separate fields in your exports, integrations, and the API. The tribute recipient form gets the same two fields.
Values saved before this change, such as Frau Dr., stay in the title field. Fundraise Up doesn’t split them. Organizations in other countries keep the single title field.
