You can now offer thank-you gifts to supporters

Organizations can now offer physical or digital thank-you gifts to supporters through a new system in Fundraise Up, called benefits.

Here’s how it works:

Benefits catalog

All gifts are created and managed in the Benefits catalog. Each benefit has details such as name, description, image, Fair Market Value (FMV), shipping rules, and options (such as size or color). Once added to the catalog, a benefit becomes available for use across campaigns.

Benefits in Campaign Pages

Benefits from the catalog are available to display on Campaign Pages. You can add up to 5 benefits, each with its own eligibility rules like minimum donation amount or frequency. Donate without thank-you gift is always the default choice.

If a supporter selects a benefit with a higher minimum, the donation amount field is updated to meet that requirement, and a clear message explains the change.

How supporters see benefits

On Campaign Pages, a Select your thank-you gift section appears when benefits are offered. Supporters see images, descriptions, and eligibility details for each benefit, along with the default option to give without a gift from the organization.

When a benefit has variations such as size or color, the supporter selects their preferred option during checkout.

For physical benefits, a shipping address is collected during checkout. Digital benefits can be delivered without shipping.

Existing campaigns continue to work as they are. To start offering benefits, you’ll need to:

  1. Add benefits to the Benefits catalog.
  2. Add benefits to a Campaign Page and set eligibility criteria.
