3‑day hold for card transactions

You can now enable delayed processing for card donations — including those made with Apple Pay and Google Pay — which adds a short hold period before funds are captured. Our AI helps identify transactions that should be held, and if a donation is refunded during that time, no processing fees apply.

You can turn this setting on or off in Settings > Payment methods > Credit cards.

Supporters still receive a confirmation and receipt immediately, and the Dashboard shows a notice for any donation with funds on hold.
