Daily donations can now start on a future date

Organizations can now enable start dates for daily donations in the Campaign editor. When enabled, supporters can schedule their donations to begin on a specific date (up to 6 months ahead) instead of starting immediately.

Previously, daily donations always began the same day supporters made their donation. This meant organizations couldn't launch campaigns in advance for holiday giving or special fundraising events — supporters had to wait until the actual start date to donate.

In Campaigns > [Your campaign] > Settings > Frequencies, select Daily to see the Start and end dates for daily donations section. You can now enable start dates alongside the existing end date option. Enable one or both depending on your campaign needs.

When enabled, start and end dates appear in checkout for supporters to review. You can suggest specific dates, or let supporters choose their own. Supporters can now edit both start and end dates during checkout — previously they could only accept the end date you set or opt out entirely.

Dates work in each supporter's local time zone: everyone starts on the same calendar date regardless of location.
