Accept recurring donations through TWINT

Swiss organizations can now accept recurring donations through TWINT. Until now, the method took one-time donations only.

TWINT appears among the payment options for every recurring frequency your campaign offers — in Checkout Modal, on Campaign Pages, and in Gift Cart, including carts that mix one-time and recurring gifts. The other conditions have not changed: the currency is CHF, the supporter is in Switzerland, and each charge is 5,000 CHF or less.

When a supporter sets up the plan, they approve the first payment and a mandate together in the TWINT app. The mandate is their permission to charge the same TWINT account on the schedule of the plan, so Fundraise Up can charge each later installment without asking them again. A failed installment is retried the same way a card is.
