Accept Cash App Pay donations from supporters in the United States

Organizations in the United States can now enable Cash App Pay, a digital wallet used across the country. Supporters pay from their Cash App account, for one-time donations and recurring plans in USD.

A supporter needs a Cash App account registered in the United States, though they do not have to be in the country when they give. On a phone, they approve the payment in the Cash App app. On a desktop, they scan a QR code and approve it there.

For a recurring plan, the supporter authorizes future charges before the plan is created. A supporter who gives to several organizations on Fundraise Up authorizes each one separately.

Cash App Pay runs through Stripe and takes two steps to set up: activate it in your Stripe account, then enable it in Settings > Payment methods in your Dashboard.
