CRM sync log
Learn how to identify synchronization issues between Fundraise Up and your CRM.
The Synced donations section, available on each CRM’s page in your Dashboard, allows you to track data flow between Fundraise Up and your CRM. This article will help you identify failed syncs directly from this section, without needing to access the settings in the CRM.
Before you begin
To access the Synced donations section, you need to have the Organization Administrator role and an active CRM integration.
Access the Synced donations section
To find the Synced donations section, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > Integrations.
- Select your CRM integration (such as HubSpot).
- Scroll down to the Synced donations section.
Working with the synced donations
The Synced donations section displays donations and recurring plans and their synchronization status in a collapsible list format. Each entry shows its ID, status, and donation data. You can expand any entry to view events, complete with timestamps and status details.
When a synchronization fails, click the failed event to see the detailed error message. You can copy this error message using the “copy text” button for troubleshooting purposes.
View and handle failed synchronizations
By default, the Synced donations section shows only failed synchronizations to help you focus on donations that need attention. This filtered view ensures that you can quickly identify and address synchronization issues. Uncheck the Only unsynced checkbox to view all synchronization attempts, including successful ones.
Resync donations
If a one-time donation fails to sync, you can trigger a manual resync by clicking the Resync button next to it.
Search for specific donations
The search bar at the top of the Synced donations section allows you to quickly find specific donations by their ID. This feature is particularly useful when investigating reported synchronization issues or monitoring specific high-value donations.
Next steps
Consider establishing a regular schedule to check the Synced donations section for failed synchronizations. This proactive approach helps ensure that your CRM data stays current and accurate.
