Build & integrate

The REST API lets developers build custom connections between Fundraise Up and your other systems. Use it to process donations that happened outside your website, sync data with tools we don't have direct integrations for, or create specialized workflows for your organization.

You'll need technical knowledge to use the REST API. It requires generating API keys in your Dashboard and making authenticated requests to specific endpoints.

The URL API lets you pre-fill donation forms by adding information to your links. When someone clicks a link you've customized, their name, email, or suggested donation amount appears automatically at checkout.

You can use this to create links for specific purposes. A link for corporate matching might pre-select a particular designation and lock the amount. A link from a direct mail piece might include the supporter's name so they don't need to type it.

The JavaScript API gives you control over when and how the donation form appears on your website. Instead of showing a static donate button, you can make the form appear after someone watches a video, scrolls to a certain point, or clicks a custom element.

This also lets you send donation data to marketing and analytics tools that don't have direct Fundraise Up connections. When someone completes a donation, you can capture that information and push it to Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking system you use.

The JavaScript API requires adding code to your website. You'll need access to your site's code and some JavaScript knowledge to implement it.

Native integrations connect Fundraise Up directly to your CRM or marketing platform. Once connected, donation data, supporter records, and recurring plan updates sync automatically. You don't need to export files, write code, or manually transfer information.

Fundraise Up connects to platforms like Salesforce, Bloomerang, HubSpot, Neon CRM, and many others. Each integration lets you control which data syncs and how it maps to fields in your system. Most integrations work in real time, sending data as donations happen.
