Donor Map pin location precision

The Donor Map is a feature in Fundraise Up that visually represents supporter activity on an interactive map. It allows you to see the geographic distribution of your supporters and the amounts they have contributed. However, to ensure supporter privacy and maintain the clarity of the map, the precision of the pin locations is intentionally limited.

How precise are the Donor Map markers?

The Donor Map markers are placed within the municipality where the supporter is located, but they do not correspond to the exact addresses provided by the supporters. This means that while the markers accurately represent the general area of the supporter's location, they do not pinpoint the specific street or building.

Balancing precision and privacy

Fundraise Up strives to provide a Donor Map that is both informative and respectful of supporter privacy. By placing markers within the supporter's municipality, we can give you a clear picture of your supporter distribution while ensuring that individual supporters cannot be identified based on the map data alone.
