Why can't I find failed transactions with Fundraise Up metadata in my Fundraise Up dashboard?

If you've noticed that a transaction in Stripe contains Fundraise Up metadata, but you can't find it in your Fundraise Up dashboard, it may be because the transaction was a failed donation attempt via our checkout, and the donor's bank declined the transaction.

Because the donation did not go through our system, you won't be able to locate it in your Fundraise Up dashboard. However, Stripe, as a payment processor, does receive information about failed transactions, including Fundraise Up metadata, which is why you can see it in your Stripe dashboard.
