Does the final installment charge on the end date of a recurring donation?
An end date for a recurring donation can be set only when the donation is created through the Virtual Terminal. When an end date is selected, the Virtual Terminal shows the full installment schedule, including the final installment date.
If the final installment is scheduled on the same day as the plan’s end date, Fundraise Up charges that installment as usual. The recurring plan is marked as completed only after the final scheduled payment is processed.
Example
A monthly recurring donation is created with an end date of December 31. If the schedule shows an installment due on December 31, that payment is charged and the plan is then completed.
