While Fundraise Up does not provide a direct option to issue partial refunds from within its dashboard, you can still process partial refunds for donations made through Stripe or PayPal.

Issuing Partial Refunds through Stripe or PayPal

If you need to issue a partial refund for a donation made through Fundraise Up, you can do so by logging into your Stripe or PayPal account and following their respective procedures for processing partial refunds:

Partial Refund Reflection in Fundraise Up Dashboard

When you issue a partial refund through Stripe or PayPal, the refund information will be automatically updated in the Fundraise Up dashboard. Here's what you can expect:

  1. Donation Record: The partial refund will be reflected in the corresponding donation record within the Fundraise Up dashboard. You will see the refunded amount, the refunded platform fee, and the refund date alongside the original donation details.
  2. Reporting: If the export template includes relevant columns, Fundraise Up will provide partial refund information in the corresponding export reports.
