Can I use my personal PayPal account to connect to Fundraise Up?

Fundraise Up provides integration with PayPal to receive donations through this popular payment method. However, it is not possible to connect a personal PayPal account because Fundraise Up can only be connected with a PayPal Business account.

If a user tries to do so, PayPal will offer them the option to create a Business account or to convert their personal account to a Business account. It is strongly recommended to create a separate Business account for donations and not to convert personal accounts, to keep donations isolated from the personal transactions of specific employees in the organization.
