Displaying Organization Names in the Social Proof Element

The Social Proof element in Fundraise Up is a powerful feature that showcases recent donations to your campaign, encouraging visitors to contribute. When configuring the Social Proof element, you can select the amount of supporter information to display. Options include the supporter's full name, first name, or first name with last initial.

Donations Made on Behalf of Organizations

When a supporter makes a contribution on behalf of an organization, the Social Proof element handles the display of information differently compared to individual donations.

If the "Suporter's name" setting in the Social Proof element is configured to display any supporter information (i.e., not set to "Hide"), the organization's name will be displayed instead of the individual supporter's name. This ensures that the organization receives recognition for their contribution.

Customizing the Social Proof Element

To customize how donor information is displayed in the Social Proof element, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Fundraise Up dashboard and navigate to the "Elements" section.
  2. Locate the Social Proof element you want to modify and click on it to access its settings.
  3. In the element settings, look for the "Supporter's name" option.
  4. Choose the desired display format.
  5. If you prefer not to display any donor information, select the "Hide" option.
  6. Save your changes.
