Hosting a telethon with Fundraise Up
Fundraise Up supports high-volume fundraising events, such as telethons, where multiple donations are processed at the same time. The platform is designed to handle concurrent activity in the Dashboard without blocking users during traffic spikes.
Key capabilities
Virtual Terminal Specialist role
The Virtual Terminal Specialist role allows volunteers to process donations directly from the Fundraise Up Dashboard. This role is well suited for telethons where donations are collected via phone calls, messages, or live outreach.
High-volume transaction processing
Fundraise Up is designed to handle large numbers of simultaneous donations. Transactions are processed independently, allowing multiple users to work in parallel during peak activity.
Session-based load management
Fundraise Up applies limits based on user sessions rather than IP addresses. This approach helps prevent volunteers from being blocked during high-traffic events when many users are working from the same location.
