Adding Unique Identifiers to Your Fundraise Up Accounts

Fundraise Up allows you to assign unique identifiers, called account codes, to each of your accounts. Account codes can be useful for organizing and tracking your accounts, especially when you have multiple subaccounts or need to integrate with external systems.

Editing or Adding Account Codes

You can edit or add account codes for your Fundraise Up accounts in two ways:

  1. Account Settings:
    • Navigate to the Settings section of your Fundraise Up dashboard.
    • Click on the "Account" tab.
    • In the account details section, you'll find the "Account code" field.
    • Enter or update the desired account code for your main account.
    • Save your changes.
  2. Subaccount Settings:
    • Go to the "Subaccounts" page in your Fundraise Up dashboard.
    • Locate the subaccount you want to edit.
    • Click on the three dots next to the subaccount and select "Edit."
    • Enter or update the desired account code in the "Subaccount code" field.
    • Save your changes.

By assigning unique account codes to your main account and subaccounts, you can easily identify and differentiate between them when managing your fundraising efforts.

Availability in Exports

Account codes are available for export via the Exports tab in your Fundraise Up dashboard. When you generate an export that includes account-related data, the account code will be included as a separate field. This allows you to use account codes for analysis, reporting, or integration with other systems outside of Fundraise Up.

CRM Integration Compatibility

While account codes can be a useful identifier for your Fundraise Up accounts, it's important to note that they are not available for mapping to certain CRM integrations. The following CRMs do not support account code mapping:

  • Bloomerang
  • Kindful
  • DonorPerfect

If you are using one of these CRM integrations, you won't be able to map the account code field to a corresponding field in your CRM. However, you can still use account codes within Fundraise Up and include them in exports for manual import or reference.
