Payment methods in in-app browsers
In-app browsers open links inside mobile apps instead of the device’s default browser. Fundraise Up supports donations in these browsers, but available payment methods can vary.
Payment method availability
Depending on the in-app browser, supporters may see:
- Credit and debit cards.
- Digital wallets, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Venmo.
- Bank debits.
- Regional payment methods, such as iDEAL | Wero, EPS, TWINT, and MobilePay.
Availability depends on:
- The app, browser, and device.
- Your organization’s country and the supporter’s location.
- The donation currency and frequency.
- The payment methods enabled in Dashboard.
A payment method available in one in-app browser may not be available in another. Some methods may open a payment app or an external browser to complete the donation.
If a preferred payment method is missing or does not work, supporters can open the donation page in their device’s default browser and try again.
