Navigating directly to the personal details screen from the Donation Form element
If you'd like to guide supporters directly from the Donation Form element to the personal details screen, skipping the amount and frequency selection, you can adjust this behavior through your campaign settings in Fundraise Up.
Prerequisites:
To let supporters skip the amount selection and go directly to the personal details screen, make sure the following are true:
- The Comments are turned off in your campaign settings.
- Tribute is disabled:
- In Campaign settings or
- In Donation Form settings
- Your campaign meets these designation conditions for Campaign Page:
- Assigned a designation is set in Campaign Settings > Designations.
- The multiple designations are disabled in the settings of your campaign.
If any of these conditions aren’t met, supporters will still be directed to the suggested amounts screen.
Disable comments and tributes in campaign settings
- Open your Fundraise Up Dashboard > Campaigns page.
- Select the campaign used with your Donation Form element.
- Go to Settings tab.
- Open Comment settings and uncheck “Enable comment” checkbox to disable comments.
- Open Tribute settings and uncheck “Allow tribute” checkbox to disable tributes (optional).
- Save changes.
Disable tribute from the Donation Form settings
If you prefer, you can disable tributes directly in the Donation Form element instead of in campaign settings:
- Open the Fundraise Up Dashboard > Elements page.
- Find the Donation Form element and click it to open settings.
- Under the Behavior tab, find the Show tribute option.
- Set it to Hide tribute.
- Save changes.
Once all conditions above are satisfied, your Donation Form will send donors straight to the Enter your details screen. This simplifies the donation process and reduces drop-off from the donation flow.
