What happens after the end of recurring donation?

Recurring donations allow donors to make a series of donations automatically over a set period of time. In our Virtual Terminal, organizations can set limits for recurring plans, such as the maximum number of installments, the maximum amount, and/or the end date. At some point, the recurring donation will end based on these limits. You may wonder what happens after the end of the recurring donation. Rest assured that there is nothing to worry about and the recurring donation will end as expected!

After the recurring donation reaches its limit, no new charges will be made. In our Dashboard, you won't find any information about the date of the next installment in confirmation of this. Similarly, donors won't find such information in their Donor Portal. In Dashboard such donation will have a successful status, and inside the donation record, the sub-status Completed will be added.
