Disabling Social Proof and Reminder Popups on Your Website

Fundraise Up's global Elements, such as Social Proof and Reminder popups, are designed to maximize donation conversion and are enabled by default. However, if you prefer to stop these popups from appearing on your website, you can easily disable them through your Fundraise Up Dashboard.

Steps to Disable Social Proof and Reminder Elements

  1. Access Elements in Dashboard:
    • Log in to your Fundraise Up Dashboard.
    • Navigate to the "Elements" section.
  2. Filter Elements by Type:
    • To easily locate the Social Proof and Reminder Elements, use the filter option.
    • Select "Social Proof" and "Reminder" from the Element type filter to narrow down the list.
  3. Archive Elements:
    • Once you have the list of Social Proof and Reminder Elements, locate the Element you want to disable.
    • Click on the three-dot menu on the right side of the Element.
    • Select "Archive" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Confirm Changes:
    • After archiving the desired elements, the changes will take effect within a few minutes.
    • The archived Elements will no longer appear on your website.

Alternative Approach: URL Control Settings

Instead of completely disabling the display of Social Proof and Reminder Elements, you may find the URL control settings more suitable for your requirements. Both Element types offer the ability to restrict their appearance to specific pages only. Here's how you can utilize this feature:

  1. Access Element Settings:
    • Follow steps 1-2 from the previous section to access the list of Social Proof and Reminder Elements.
    • Click on the Element you want to configure.
  2. Modify URL Control Settings:
    • In the Element settings, locate the "URL Control" section.
    • Specify the pages where you want the Element to appear by entering the corresponding URLs.
    • You can use exact or relative URLs to define the pages.
  3. Save Changes:
    • After modifying the URL control settings, click on the "Update element" button to apply the changes.
    • The Element will now only appear on the specified pages, allowing you to have more control over its visibility.
