Disabling Social Proof and Reminder Popups on Your Website
Fundraise Up’s global Elements, such as Floating Button, Sticky Button, Message Bar, Popup, Reminder, and Social Proof, are designed to maximize donation conversion and are enabled by default. These Elements do not require an embed code to appear on your website and can be managed entirely from your Fundraise Up Dashboard.
Depending on your needs, you can either disable an Element to stop it from appearing on your site or control its visibility to show it only on specific pages.
Manage visibility or disable Elements
- Access the Element
- Log in to your Fundraise Up Dashboard and navigate to the Elements section.
- Click on the global Element you want to update.
- Disable the Element (optional)
- Uncheck Element is enabled.
- Click Save changes.
- Once disabled, the Element will stop appearing on your website but remain available for future use.
- Control Element visibility
- Open the Visibility tab in the Element settings.
- Use the URL control options to specify where the Element should or should not appear.
- Show only on these URLs: Enter up to 20 URLs where the Element should be visible.
- Do not show on these URLs: Enter up to 20 URLs where it should be hidden.
- Click Save changes when done.
This allows you to fine-tune the placement of global Elements across your website or hide them entirely when needed.
Alternative: Archiving Elements
If you prefer to completely remove an Element instead of disabling or hiding it:
- Go to the Elements section of your Dashboard.
- Locate the Element you want to remove.
- Click the three-dot menu and select Archive.
- The Element will no longer appear on your website within a few minutes.
