Limitations on deleting Questions

You can manage and delete questions through your Question settings. However, there is one specific scenario where deletion is not possible:

Question present in a campaign's question list: Even if the "Enable questions" option is unchecked in a campaign's settings, the question list remains saved in the system. This setup allows for the easy reactivation of questions. Therefore, if a question is included in any campaign's list, it cannot be deleted.

Steps to delete a Question

To delete a question that is no longer needed, follow these steps:

1. Review campaign question lists: Check whether the question is included in any campaign's list of questions. If it is, remove it from that list.
2. Delete the question: If the question is not present in any campaign's question list, you can proceed with deleting it from your Question settings by clicking the three dots next to it.

Checking if a question is present in a campaign

If the option to delete a question isn't available in the settings, verify whether it's used in any campaign's settings. The "Enable questions" option in the campaign settings determines if the question feature is active for that particular campaign.

To check if a question is present in a campaign:

1. Open Dashboard → Campaigns.
2. Select the campaign and go to Settings → Questions.
3. If Enable questions is turned on, review the list to check whether the question is present.
4. If Enable questions is turned off, enable it to display the list of questions, then check whether the question appears.
5. If the question is used in any campaign, remove it from all campaigns before attempting to delete it.

Before proceeding with the deletion process, it's crucial to thoroughly review each campaign's question settings to ensure that the question you wish to delete is not in use. Don't forget to check archived campaigns as well.
