PayPal's Limitation on Venmo

The unavailability of Venmo as a payment option on mobile devices is due to a limitation imposed by PayPal, the parent company of Venmo. According to PayPal's policies, Venmo can only be accessed through specific web browsers on mobile devices:

  • Android Devices: Supporters using Android devices must access Venmo through the Google Chrome web browser.

This limitation applies to all merchants and platforms, including Fundraise Up, that offer Venmo as a payment option.
