Strong Customer Authentication is a two-factor payment verification required for online transactions in the United Kingdom and European Union. Fundraise Up handles SCA automatically during checkout.

Recurring donations with Indian-issued cards
Recurring donations made with Indian-issued cards follow Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations. Banks send pre-debit notifications before each recurring payment.
The following limitations apply to Indian-issued cards:
- Daily recurring plans are not supported.
- Recurring donations over 15,000 INR require supporter confirmation through 3D Secure for each payment.
- One-time donations are supported, but Indian cards cannot be saved for future use.
- The Fundraise Up API does not support recurring donations with Indian-issued cards.
- For Indian Stripe accounts, only INR is supported.
