The Tax amount field appears in the Payment & fees section of individual donation records for organizations in Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. This value is received directly from Stripe and displayed as-is. Fundraise Up does not perform any additional calculations on this data.

The receipt includes the supporter's name, donation amount, and your organization's name and registration number, along with a statement confirming the donation is eligible for a tax credit. Receipts are automatically generated in both Canadian English and Canadian French.

Recurring donations with Indian-issued cards

Recurring donations made with Indian-issued cards follow Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations. E-mandates are automatically created during checkout and in the , and supporters may be required to complete additional authentication (such as 3D Secure). Banks send pre-debit notifications before each recurring payment.

The following limitations apply to Indian-issued cards:

  • Daily are not supported.
  • Recurring donations over 15,000 INR require supporter confirmation through 3D Secure for each payment.
  • One-time donations are supported, but Indian cards cannot be saved for future use.
  • The Fundraise Up API does not support recurring donations with Indian-issued cards.
  • For Indian Stripe accounts, only INR is supported.
