About Fundraise Up

We’re Fundraise Up - a global fundraising platform built to make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible to all. Every month, our technology powers tens of millions of dollars in donations across the globe. We focus on innovation that directly impacts results: faster load times, higher conversion rates, global payment support, and accessibility-first design.

Our platform is trusted by many of the world’s leading nonprofits, including UNICEF, the Alzheimer’s Association, and a wide range of global NGOs. With a 4.9/5 rating across top software review platforms, we’re recognized not just for our impact - but for the quality of the product we deliver.

A Truly Global Product

We operate in the enterprise segment, serving nonprofit organizations across North America, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Europe.

We’re building a large and complex product ecosystem that serves nonprofits, donors, and partners around the world. The platform includes a modern checkout experience and customizable widgets (each a standalone SPA), donor, organization, and partner portals, admin tools, and several internal apps.

Our backend is powered by Node.js (Koa, NestJS) and MongoDB. The frontend stack includes Webpack, Vue.js, and React, with nearly all code written in TypeScript. For high-throughput messaging and background processing, we use Kafka (for millions of events) and Bull (Redis). Analytics data is stored in ClickHouse, and we use Elasticsearch for search.

The Team

We are a distributed team of 120+ product professionals, including 35+ engineers. Our team members are mainly based across Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus.

Despite our scale, we operate like a focused team - where every task matters and every voice is heard. We value thoughtful collaboration, strong engineering practices, and a product mindset. Biweekly engineering forums give space to share learnings and celebrate technical achievements. You’ll be joining a team where quality, mentorship, and mutual respect come first.

About the role

As the Group Product Manager, Donor Experience, you will define and drive the vision, strategy, and execution for our donor-facing products. Leading a talented team of Product Owners (initially 4–6), you’ll build a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making to deliver meaningful impact. In close partnership with Engineering, Design, and Go-to-Market teams, you’ll launch innovative capabilities that elevate the donor journey, boost conversion, and accelerate revenue growth. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives on hands-on collaboration, rapid experimentation, and delivering measurable growth in engagement, conversion, and revenue.

What “Donor Experience” means here

Donor Experience represents every moment a donor connects with our platform — from the first click on a campaign page to the checkout flow, donor portal, and new innovations like peer-to-peer giving and bundled donations. Your mission is to ensure Fundraise Up remains the gold standard in digital fundraising — best-in-class for conversion, speed, accessibility, and global payments. You’ll champion simplicity and design excellence, scaling innovation without compromising the clean, unified experience that defines our brand.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Outcomes

  • Set the vision and drive execution of a multi-quarter strategy and roadmap for the Donor Experience — spanning checkout, widgets, pages, donor portal, and new donor-facing products.
  • Lead continuous discovery through JTBD mapping, executive and customer interviews, and deep data analysis to separate core essentials from true differentiators.
  • Run a high-impact experimentation engine — designing and executing A/B tests, optimizing UX patterns, and refining upsell and cross-sell mechanics to lift conversion, average revenue per visitor (ARPV) and per session (ARPS), and to shorten time-to-value.
  • Balance scale and flexibility — safeguard product integrity and architecture while enabling tailored solutions that unlock enterprise growth.

Execution & Quality

  • Lead cross-functional delivery with Engineering, Design, and Analytics to ship reliable, high-performing, accessible experiences.
  • Set crisp business cases and acceptance criteria; land capabilities on time with launch playbooks and adoption plans.
  • Monitor performance in production; iterate quickly on insights from analytics, research, and GTM feedback.

Team Leadership

  • Hire, mentor, and develop Product Owners; establish operating rituals (discovery cadence, experiment reviews, roadmap/OKR cycles).
  • Coach for strong product thinking and decision quality; close performance/skill gaps with direct, supportive feedback.
  • Grow leaders who can run autonomous pods and represent the product credibly with enterprise customers.

GTM & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Operate as a true partner to Sales, Solutions, CS, Support, and Marketing: equip the field with narratives, competitive angles, and clear boundaries.
  • Join strategic customer conversations when it moves the needle; present product vision, handle objections, and co-create rollout plans.
  • Communicate trade-offs with executive clarity; document decisions and keep stakeholders aligned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years in Product Management with 3+ years leading PMs/POs across multiple areas.
  • Enterprise B2B/B2B2C platform experience (SaaS/fintech/payments/e-commerce or adjacent), including pre-sales/RFPs and complex stakeholders.
  • Proven discovery-to-impact record: insight → business case → delivery → measurable uplift (conversion, revenue, adoption).
  • Metrics fluency: CR, ARPV/ARPS, adoption, time-to-value; strong analytical judgment and decision quality.
  • Communication: English C1
  • Comfortable working remote within 9:00–18:00 CET; occasional travel to customers/events.

Bonus points

  • Experience with payments, accessibility, localization, or CRM/marketing integrations.
  • Background in remote-first, distributed teams and enterprise customer environments.
  • Exposure to donor ecosystems (nonprofit, giving, peer-to-peer) or membership/recurring mechanics.

What Great Looks Like in 6–12 Months

  • Measured uplift in CR and ARPV/ARPS from shipped experiments and capabilities; clear line of sight to revenue impact.
  • 2–3 pivotal donor-facing launches with strong adoption and in-the-wild reliability.
  • A predictable operating system: quarterly strategy reviews, healthy discovery pipeline, and on-time delivery.
  • GTM alignment: field playbooks on why we win, where we don’t, and what we say “no” to—and why.
  • A strong PO bench: autonomous pods, fewer escalations, better decision velocity.

GPM-Level Behaviors We Expect

  • Owns outcomes: accountable for results, not just roadmaps.
  • Empathetic & relentlessly curious: digs to root causes; tests before telling.
