For children and their families, Pinky Swear Foundation is a lifeline in the darkness. For over 20 years, they’ve dedicated financial and emotional support to kids with cancer and their families, assisting with expenses like housing, food, and transportation. By alleviating the strain of everyday expenses, Pinky Swear Foundation helps families focus on what matters most — their child.

The challenge: modernize a major high-volume event

The annual Pinky Swear Foundation Radiothon is a major fundraising event for the organization. But legacy technology left Pinky Swear team members, volunteers, and donors feeling frustrated. Two critical concerns marred this high-volume event every year.

During Radiothon, manually processing over-the-phone donations slowed down the system and left room for human error. After the event, it was nearly impossible for Pinky Swear Foundation to track and report metrics using their previous CRM.

Not only that, phone donations were typically limited to credit or debit cards, leaving out donors who preferred other payment methods like digital wallets. That, in combination with a clunky online donation form, created a less-than-ideal experience for donors.
