What we tested

We introduced AI to the first step of Checkout to determine which donation frequency, one-time or monthly, should be shown by default for each donor. The goal was to personalize the experience in a way that encourages more donors to choose monthly giving.

Hypothesis

By showing AI-predicted donation frequency defaults, we expect monthly giving conversion to increase by 4% without reducing overall conversion rates, since donors will see options that better match their preferences.
