About Fundraise Up
We’re Fundraise Up - a global fundraising platform built to make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible to all. Every month, our technology powers tens of millions of dollars in donations across the globe. We focus on innovation that directly impacts results: faster load times, higher conversion rates, global payment support, and accessibility-first design.
Our platform is trusted by many of the world’s leading nonprofits, including UNICEF, the Alzheimer’s Association, and a wide range of global NGOs. With a 4.9/5 rating across top software review platforms, we’re recognized not just for our impact - but for the quality of the product we deliver.
A Truly Global Product
We operate in the enterprise segment, serving nonprofit organizations across North America, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Europe.
We’re building a large and complex product ecosystem that serves nonprofits, donors, and partners around the world. The platform includes a modern checkout experience and customizable widgets (each a standalone SPA), donor, organization, and partner portals, admin tools, and several internal apps.
The Team
We are a distributed team of 160+ product professionals. Our team members are mainly based across Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus.
Despite our scale, we operate like a focused team - where every task matters and every voice is heard. We value thoughtful collaboration, strong engineering practices, and a product mindset.
About The Role
As a Senior Product Designer at Fundraise Up, you won’t just be pushing pixels — you’ll solve complex UX architecture challenges across our global donation ecosystem. You’ll embed within one of our cross-functional squads, owning a specific product domain while influencing the broader platform.
You will navigate the intersection of enterprise-grade B2B tools and seamless consumer-facing (B2C) checkout experiences. We operate at massive scale, so every design decision directly influences conversion rates and, ultimately, the amount of money raised for global nonprofits. We’re looking for a systems thinker who balances deep empathy for users with a sharp understanding of business logic, edge cases, and technical constraints.
What You'll Do
- Drive end-to-end product design: Partner with your Product Owner, engineers, and analysts to turn ambiguous problems into polished, shipped solutions. You will decide on the best design approach to achieve business goals.
- Make data-informed decisions: You won’t work in a vacuum. Collaborate with our UX Research and Analytics teams to form hypotheses, run tests, and turn user behavior into actionable insights.
- Evolve our ecosystem: Drive consistency across portals, widgets, and admin tools while navigating complex technical dependencies.
- Leverage AI: AI is a default tool here, not an experiment. We expect you to use AI actively in your daily workflow, recognize where it reshapes problems, and grow your fluency. You should already be using AI meaningfully and know where it adds value.
- Champion accessibility: Design intuitive, inclusive interfaces that meet WCAG standards, making our platform accessible to everyone.
- At Fundraise Up, AI is a default tool, not an experimental one. We expect every team member to actively use AI in their day-to-day work, identify where AI can change the shape of problems in their function, and grow their fluency as the tools evolve. You should already be using AI meaningfully in your work and understand where it adds value and how it can improve the way you operate.
Requirements
- Proven senior experience: 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in complex B2B SaaS, FinTech, or large-scale e-commerce.
- Systems-thinking portfolio: A strong portfolio of shipped products showing how you solve business problems, navigate complex flows, and measure design impact (include case studies of your process, not just polished UI shots).
- Research & data foundation: You’re not a full-time researcher, but you know the fundamentals: asking the right questions, tracking the right metrics, and using data to validate decisions.
- Cross-functional collaboration: You speak the language of engineering and product, negotiating trade-offs without sacrificing user experience.
- Language: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher English to communicate seamlessly across our distributed team.
Strong plus
- Experience designing payment flows, checkouts, or FinTech products with a focus on conversion rate optimization.
- Advanced prototyping and motion design skills to create delightful micro-interactions.
- A solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, React) to bridge the gap between design and engineering.
- A background in nonprofit tech or a strong personal passion for NGO impact.
