Campaign progress
Set a goal for your campaign, and enable either the Goal Meter or the Amount Counter component.
In the Campaign progress section of your Campaign page, you can enable an Amount Counter or a Goal Meter. Both features are designed to engage visitors and encourage them to donate.
Amount Counter
The Amount Counter displays the total amount raised during the campaign without setting a goal or meter. The Amount Counter is shown above the campaign’s image on the Campaign Page.
To enable the Amount Counter:
- Check the Show total raised amount checkbox.
- Leave all other checkboxes on the page unchecked.
- Save changes.
Goal Meter
You can also set a goal for your campaign, which will be displayed as a Goal Meter. To enable the Goal Meter, follow these steps:
- Check the Show total raised amount checkbox.
- Check the Add campaign goal checkbox.
- Enter a total goal for the campaign. If you leave the field blank, a default goal of $10,000 (or its equivalent in the campaign's currency) will be set.
- Save changes.
The Goal Meter will remain visible even after the goal is reached.
End date
You can set an optional end date for the campaign’s goal and counter:
- Check the Show total raised amount checkbox.
- Check the Set end date checkbox.
- Select a date from the calendar. This will be the last day on which donations to this goal will be counted.
- Save changes.
If the Goal Meter is activated, it will remain visible on the Campaign Page after the end date, but donations made after this date will not count toward the goal.
If you didn’t set a campaign goal, the end date will still affect the Amount Counter: only donations made before the end date will be included in the total displayed by the Amount Counter.
