Company matching

Find out if your donor is eligible to have their donation matched by an employer.

The company matching feature enables donors to input the name of their employer during checkout to check whether they could be eligible for a corporate donation matching scheme. By default, you can then use the collected information to follow-up with donors about possible matching opportunities. But, most commonly and effectively, the feature is used with Double the Donation’s 360MatchPro feature, which is easily integrated with Fundraise Up.

The Enable company matching option is not selected by default.

Default behavior

When the company matching feature is enabled for a Checkout, a screen is displayed that prompts the donor to input the name of their employer. This value is then stored on the donation record for the Employer property. The Employer property can be added to your Exports templates and mapped to integrated apps.

Fundraise Up's company matching feature does not include automatic donation matching. For matching automation and other donation matching functionalities, consider integrating with Double the Donation’s 360MatchPro platform, which is described below.
