Disclaimer

Add legal or compliance text to campaigns without taking space from your campaign messaging.

Disclaimer is a text block that appears separately from your description in  and on . It displays in smaller type, below the main content, and is designed for regulatory notices, fund usage statements, or other compliance text.

Add a disclaimer to a campaign

To add a disclaimer:

  1. Go to Campaigns > [Your campaign] > Settings > Disclaimer.
  2. Check the Add disclaimer checkbox.
  3. Enter your text in the Disclaimer field.
  4. Click Save changes.

You can include hyperlinks in your disclaimer text to link to full legal notices or compliance documents on your website.

The field accepts up to 1,000 characters.

Once added, the disclaimer appears automatically in Checkout Modal, on Campaign Pages, and on  tabs within the same campaign.

The disclaimer appears below the FAQ section. On desktop, one line shows by default — longer text is truncated with a "Read more" link that opens a tooltip. On mobile, six lines show before truncation, and tapping "Read more" expands the text inline.

If a campaign has a disclaimer, it also appears on Fundraiser tab within that campaign.

You can translate disclaimer text through the Localization section in campaign settings. When you enable a disclaimer, a new Disclaimer field appears in the list of translatable content.
