About The Role
We're looking for a senior FP&A professional to join Fundraise Up's Finance team as a strategic partner to Sales, Revenue, Product, and Operations leadership. This role owns budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis for assigned functions, replacing transactional FP&A work with higher level strategic decision support. Reports to the Manager, FP&A and Strategic Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Finance partner for assigned business functions, building trusted relationships with department leaders and influencing decision making
- Own budgeting and rolling forecast processes for assigned business areas, developing financial models and scenario analyses to identify risks and opportunities
- Partner with Revenue leadership on sales planning and performance tracking, monitoring bookings, pipeline, AE productivity, and close rates
- Build business cases for investments, new initiatives, and organizational changes; support executive presentations and strategic planning exercises
- Partner on headcount planning, investment decisions, and resource allocation across the business
- Lead complex, cross functional projects across Finance, Revenue, Product, Operations, and People, driving alignment and influencing outcomes without direct authority
- Own financial planning processes with minimal oversight, escalating financial risks proactively and driving process automation and efficiency initiatives
- At Fundraise Up, AI is a default tool, not an experimental one. We expect every team member to actively use AI in their day-to-day work, identify where AI can change the shape of problems in their function, and grow their fluency as the tools evolve. You should already be using AI meaningfully in your work and understand where it adds value and how it can improve the way you operate.
- This role requires 2-3 days/week in-person, in our Brooklyn HQ
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience, ideally within a high growth SaaS or subscription business
- Demonstrated experience partnering directly with Sales or Revenue leadership on pipeline, bookings, and productivity analysis
- Strong financial modeling skills, including scenario planning, forecasting, and business case development
- Track record of operating independently, exercising sound judgment, and influencing outcomes without formal authority
- Executive presence, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and confidently to senior leaders
- Must be an expert in Excel/Google Sheets; hands on experience with FP&A tools like Anaplan, Cube, Workday, a plus
- Fluency with AI tools to automate reporting, forecasting, and analytical workflows required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA a plus
Compensation
- The compensation range for this role is $150k - $165k OTE
