About the Role
We are looking for a Group Product Manager for our Online Donations direction, who is still a builder at heart: someone who writes the hard specs themselves and makes a small group of Product Managers stronger along the way.
Online Donations covers the products donors use to give online: Checkout Modal & Elements, Campaign Pages, Gift Cart.
Together with your team, you build and own the long-term strategic roadmap for this product line: where Online Donations is heading, how the products reinforce each other, and what we invest in to get there.
About 70% of your time goes to hands-on product work. You own a product area directly, write cross-team specifications, and step in for a PM on your team when they are out or overloaded — without the work slowing down.
You also build a culture of continuous discovery: your team talks to customers regularly, keeps a close eye on the market and competitors, and grounds its decisions in that evidence.
The other 30% is people and team leadership. You coach 2–4 Product Managers and run their performance reviews. You own how your team operates: planning cadence, rituals, delivery predictability, and removing friction. You also help PMs navigate cross-team communication, including how they work with GTM — Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Support.
You will partner closely with the Director of Core Products & Platform. Success here means your area ships predictably, your cross-team work lands, and your PMs need you less over time.
Key Responsibilities
-
Build product hands-on
- Own a product area yourself: run discovery, write specs, set metrics, and drive delivery.
- Write the cross-team specifications that no single PM can own alone.
- Build and manage the long-term strategic roadmap for the Online Donations product line together with your team, and keep your PMs' quarterly plans aligned with it.
Be the safety net for your team
- Step in for a PM during vacation, overload, or a critical launch — and keep their area moving at the same quality.
- Unblock work quickly when a spec, decision, or dependency is stuck.
Coach Product Managers
- Review and raise the quality of your PMs' concepts, specs, and prioritization.
- Help them grow autonomy, decision quality, and ownership through regular 1:1s, feedback, and performance reviews.
Keep the team close to customers and the market
- Talk to customers regularly yourself, and make customer conversations a team habit.
- Run market and competitor analysis for Online Donations and turn it into product decisions.
Run your team's operations
- Set up and improve how your team works: planning, rituals, spec reviews, and delivery tracking.
- Watch team effectiveness — predictability, cycle time, review rounds — and fix what slows the team down.
Help the team work across teams and with GTM
- Show PMs how to align with other teams, run cross-team decisions, and escalate the right way.
- Help PMs set up how they work with GTM: launch readiness, enablement, and feedback loops from Sales, Customer Success, and Support.
- Spot cross-team dependencies early and coordinate them before they become delivery risks.
Use AI as a daily tool
- Apply AI to research, spec writing, synthesis, and communication.
- Help your PMs adopt AI-enabled workflows that save time and raise quality.
Skills and Qualifications
- 6+ years in Product Management, preferably in B2B SaaS or high-growth technology companies
- 2+ years leading Product Managers, ideally including running performance reviews
- A strong individual track record: products you owned end to end, with measurable results
- Excellent spec writing, including complex specs that span several teams or systems
- Hands-on continuous discovery: regular customer interviews, market and competitor analysis, and turning insights into product decisions
- Experience building and managing a long-term product strategy and roadmap across several related products
- Proven ability to drive cross-team initiatives without formal authority
- Experience setting up team processes — planning, rituals, delivery tracking — and improving them based on results
- Experience working closely with GTM teams (Marketing, Sales, Customer Success) on launches and enablement
- Comfortable switching between your own work and supporting others in the same week
- Strong analytical mindset; you define metrics and make data-informed decisions
- Clear written and verbal communication with engineers, designers, and leadership
- Experience using AI in day-to-day product work is a strong plus
- Languages: Fluent Russian (required, as you’ll be working in a Russian-speaking team) and English at C1 level, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
Experience with online donations, fundraising, payments, or checkout products — conversion-focused flows used by end customers; experience with platform or API products.
You'll Thrive Here If You…
- Own outcomes, not tasks, and don't wait for permission to fix what's broken.
- Can hold a wide context and still move quickly.
- Say no to a loud request when the data says something else matters more, and can explain why.
- Care as much about stability as about the next shiny experiment.
- Give and ask for candid feedback without ego.
- Get energy from aligning several teams around one shared goal.
- Keep sharpening your AI workflow because you want to, not because you were told to.
- Want your work to translate directly into more money reaching nonprofits.
Please note that final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, alignment with the role’s requirements and location.
