Senior Product Manager, Peer-to-Peer Events
About Fundraise Up
We’re Fundraise Up - a global fundraising platform built to make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible to all. Every month, our technology powers tens of millions of dollars in donations across the globe. We focus on innovation that directly impacts results: faster load times, higher conversion rates, global payment support, and accessibility-first design.
Our platform is trusted by many of the world’s leading nonprofits, including UNICEF, the Alzheimer’s Association, and a wide range of global NGOs. With a 4.9/5 rating across top software review platforms, we’re recognized not just for our impact - but for the quality of the product we deliver.
About the Role
Peer-to-Peer turns supporters into fundraisers. Your job is to decide what we build to make that work.
You’ll own Fundraise Up’s Peer-to-Peer (P2P) product direction. It covers DIY fundraising such as birthdays, memorials, and personal challenges, and extends to walks, runs, national events, and recurring fundraising programs. This is a hands-on individual contributor role reporting to the Director of New Products. You’ll turn a large, ambiguous area into focused bets based on evidence, then own them from discovery through launch and adoption. If you get it right, more supporters will raise money for the causes they care about, and nonprofits will be able to run those programs without heavy manual work or disconnected tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the P2P product thesis and a sequenced roadmap. Choose which segments and fundraising scenarios to pursue first, and make explicit calls on what to build, integrate, defer, or exclude.
- Lead discovery directly with nonprofit fundraising teams, individual fundraisers, team captains, event operators, and internal go-to-market teams. Validate decisions through interviews, workflow mapping, prototypes, and live usage.
- Decide which capabilities are shared across P2P scenarios and where workflows or data models need to differ, so the product grows without fragmenting.
- Drive delivery end to end with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Research, and QA. Write clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and decision records, and stay involved in QA and post-launch issues.
- Launch through early access programs with clear entry criteria, success measures, and out-of-scope areas.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Support on positioning, enablement, and customer commitments, and separate validated demand from feature requests.
- Connect product evidence to adoption, expansion, pipeline, retention, and GPV. Turn that evidence into a clear recommendation: iterate, expand, change direction, or stop.
- At Fundraise Up, AI is a default tool, not an experimental one. We expect every team member to actively use AI in their day-to-day work, identify where AI can change the shape of problems in their function, and grow their fluency as the tools evolve. In this role, that means using AI for research synthesis, prototyping, specification quality, and data exploration, while keeping product judgment your own.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Product Management experience in a software product company, including independent end-to-end ownership of a customer-facing B2B SaaS product area with Engineering and Design.
- A track record of taking a new product or significant expansion from an ambiguous problem through launch, adoption, and measurable results. You should be able to explain your own decisions, not just the team’s output.
- Experience working directly with business customers, Sales, and Customer Success, including enterprise requirements and commercial commitments.
- Strong judgment in narrowing a large problem space to a focused release. This means combining customer evidence, product data, and commercial context, and being clear about what not to build.
- Comfort with multi-actor workflows, permissions, states, and data relationships.
- Clear written communication across product direction, requirements, edge cases, metrics, and decision records.
- Languages: Fluent Russian (required, as you’ll be working in a Russian-speaking team) and English at C1 level, both written and spoken
Nice to Have
- Experience building for US enterprise customers and working with US go-to-market teams
- Experience with fundraising, payments, registration, events, community, or other multi-sided products
- Experience launching a new product area through beta or early access
- Knowledge of CRM integrations, reporting, transaction attribution, analytics, or SQL
You'll Thrive Here If You…
- Would rather work out what should be built than receive a finished roadmap.
- Move forward without full certainty, and change course when the evidence says so.
- Measure progress in customer and business outcomes, not features shipped.
- Can say no to a customer request, explain why, and keep the relationship strong.
- Enjoy strategy but still read the edge cases, test the release, and fix what breaks after launch.
- Align people through clear writing and candid trade-offs rather than escalation.
- Want hands-on product ownership, not people management, event planning, or project coordination.
- Care that the product helps nonprofits engage more supporters and raise more for their missions.
Please note that final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, alignment with the role’s requirements and location.
