Senior Product Manager, In-Person Giving
About Fundraise Up
We’re Fundraise Up - a global fundraising platform built to make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible to all. Every month, our technology powers tens of millions of dollars in donations across the globe. We focus on innovation that directly impacts results: faster load times, higher conversion rates, global payment support, and accessibility-first design.
Our platform is trusted by many of the world’s leading nonprofits, including UNICEF, the Alzheimer’s Association, and a wide range of global NGOs. With a 4.9/5 rating across top software review platforms, we’re recognized not just for our impact - but for the quality of the product we deliver.
About the Role
A donation made at a gala shouldn’t sit in a different system from one made online.
In-Person Giving brings Fundraise Up’s fast, connected giving experience into physical fundraising moments, starting with Tap to Donate and Giving Station. As a hands-on Product Manager reporting to the Director of New Products, you’ll decide where the product goes next. That means improving what exists today, and deciding on evidence how far to expand into ticketing, galas, and complex fundraising events. All of it builds on one connected platform rather than another isolated event tool. This is an individual contributor role. It is not a people-management, event-planning, or sales role.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the In-Person Giving product thesis and a sequenced roadmap. Turn customer research, market evidence, and commercial context into clear calls on what to build, integrate, partner on, defer, or leave out.
- Drive discovery directly with nonprofit fundraising teams, event operators, finance teams, volunteers, donors, and GTM partners. Map full workflows before, during, and after an event, and separate real adoption blockers from expectations set by incumbent event platforms.
- Own delivery end to end with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Research, and QA. That covers requirements, acceptance criteria, edge cases, state transitions, and decision records, and staying close to QA and post-launch issues.
- Design for real event conditions: staff-led and self-service flows, mobile and optional hardware, unreliable connectivity, high-volume peaks, and operational recovery. Reuse existing payments, campaign, donor, reporting, CRM, and identity infrastructure wherever possible.
- Partner with the Peer-to-Peer team so shared capabilities are built once, not twice.
- Launch through early access programs (EAPs) with clear entry criteria, success measures, and scope. Align Product Marketing, Sales, CSM, Support, Finance, Legal, and Operations on commitments and readiness.
- Own outcomes after launch. Connect product evidence to adoption, workflow completion, GPV, retention, and operational cost, then make an explicit recommendation: iterate, expand, change direction, partner, or stop.
- At Fundraise Up, AI is a default tool, not an experimental one. We expect every team member to actively use AI in their day-to-day work, identify where AI can change the shape of problems in their function, and grow their fluency as the tools evolve. In this role, that means using AI for research synthesis, workflow analysis, prototyping, spec quality, and data exploration, without handing over product judgment.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Product Management experience in a software product company, including independent end-to-end ownership of a customer-facing B2B SaaS product area with Engineering and Design.
- A track record of taking a new product or a meaningful expansion from an ambiguous problem through launch, adoption, and measurable customer and business results. You can explain your own decisions, not only the team’s output.
- Experience working directly with business customers, Sales, and CSM on enterprise requirements and commercial commitments, while keeping a coherent product direction.
- Strong judgment in narrowing a large problem space to a focused release using customer evidence, product data, and commercial context, and in explaining what you chose not to build.
- Experience with transactional, multi-actor workflows involving permissions, states, money, and data relationships. You own the operational edge cases and data accuracy, not only the main user flow.
- Clear written communication across product direction, requirements, metrics, and decision records.
- Languages: Fluent Russian (required, as you’ll be working in a Russian-speaking team) and English at C1 level, both written and spoken
Nice to Have
- Experience building for US enterprise customers and working with US go-to-market teams.
- Experience with ticketing, event technology, commerce, POS, payments, marketplaces, registration, or auctions.
- Experience with mobile apps, contactless payments, or hardware-enabled workflows.
- Experience in fundraising, nonprofits, or other operationally complex environments.
- Experience launching a new product area through a beta or EAP.
- Knowledge of CRM integrations, financial reconciliation, reporting, transaction attribution, or SQL.
You'll Thrive Here If You…
- Would rather work out what should be built than receive a finished roadmap.
- Move forward without full certainty, and change course when the evidence says so.
- Measure progress in customer and business outcomes, not features shipped.
- Can say no to a customer request, explain why, and keep the relationship strong.
- Enjoy strategy but still read the edge cases, test the release, and fix what breaks after launch.
- Align people through clear writing and candid trade-offs rather than escalation.
- Want hands-on product ownership, not people management, event planning, or project coordination.
- Care that the product helps nonprofits engage more supporters and raise more for their missions.
Please note that final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, alignment with the role’s requirements and location.
