Most giving tools weren’t built for your supporters’ needs

Some people give every week, some give during specific seasons, some pledge over years, and some hand you their gift in person. Tools built for one method of giving won’t meet your needs.

Your biggest days have no margin for error

During the year’s biggest giving moments, your donor traffic arrives on days when most of your staff are spending time with their families. Most donation tools slow under this stress, and with no staff online to fix this issue, you may lose the gift outright.

A recurring gift can stop even when the commitment has not

A supporter changes banks or replaces a card, and their plan fails on the next attempt. Nobody cancelled and nobody was notified, so the gift disappears from a supporter who never chose to stop giving.

In-person giving comes with an administrative burden

An offering at a service or an appeal at a banquet raises real money, but it lands in a box full of checks that someone enters by hand the following week.

Supporters may feel called to more than one part of your mission

Someone may want to give to missions, the building fund, and a family in crisis. But if you start checkout over for each gift, you break their experience into separate transactions, and nothing in your records honors the whole intention of that supporter.

Every way your supporters give, in one donor record

Recurring gifts, pledges, appeals, and in-person giving all run on the same platform.

Tithes and recurring giving

Nine recurring frequencies, with weekly and monthly available in checkout. Through the Donor Portal, supporters manage their own plan, view history, change recurring amounts, update a payment method, and download receipts — all without contacting your office.

Pledges tracked to the final installment

A supporter commits to a total and a schedule, and the pledge is recorded the moment they agree. One real-time ledger holds every balance, installment, and fulfillment status. Reminders go out on schedule and the next installment takes one click.

Supporters raising on your behalf

Individual and team fundraising pages with an AI-drafted story, a goal, and a target date. Milestone emails go out automatically. Every gift carries the fundraiser’s ID into your CRM.

A campaign goes live the same day

Build and publish a campaign page in minutes, with the designation set to the response you’re funding. Social proof and gift matches build momentum while attention is highest, and the emergency appeal reports separately from everything else running.

Gifts collected in the room are recorded like any other gift

Giving Station turns a tablet into a self-serve giving point for a lobby, an entrance, or a registration desk, running in a locked donor-only mode with a PIN-protected exit. Tap to Donate lets a staff member or volunteer take contactless gifts on a phone. Both land in the same campaign and donor record as online giving.

Supporters split their gift

Supporters can give up to five designations in a single checkout on a Campaign Page. They pay once and receive a single receipt showing the breakdown by designation. Every donation carries its designation into your reporting and your CRM.

Building for your giving calendar

Give your supporters a giving experience that matches their rhythm.

Weekly services

The regular giving underneath the rest of the calendar. Recurring gifts lapse when a supporter’s payment method changes, and recovering them takes staff time.

Sustained monthly revenue without manual follow-up from your staff.

  • Saved cards updated automatically when a bank reissues one

  • Failed installments retried on a schedule set by machine learning

  • Supporters updating cards and amounts without contacting your office

Year-end

Weeks worth of giving will arrive over a few days, and during this flood of giving most of your team will be out of the office. Everything needs to hold strong while your team is with their families.

  • Build and launch campaign pages without needing a developer

  • 99.99% uptime, including on December 31

  • Annual summary receipts automatically generated for the tax year you select

  • The one-time to recurring upsell is automatically offered inside checkout

Christmas

If Christmas gifts land in several different funds, sorting out what went where can stretch into January. Designation data should arrive clean, so the season closes in days instead of weeks.

  • Apple Pay and Google Pay, so a gift completes in seconds on a phone

  • A QR code that opens checkout directly

  • Giving Station for gifts collected in the room, recorded like any online gift

  • Designation data flowing to your CRM as gifts arrive, not after

Easter

Easter brings a surge of giving into a short window, and the campaign that ran last year is set to dates that have already passed. Simply clone last year’s campaign and reset the dates, keeping everything you already built.

  • Campaign dates set to your own calendar

  • A scheduled popup that opens and closes on your dates

  • Recurring giving offered to first-time givers inside checkout

  • Infrastructure that scales automatically through the surge

Giving Tuesday

Supporters give more when they can see the match, watch the goal move, and know that others are giving, too.

  • Matching rules, limits, and dates only need to be set once at the campaign level

  • The match is shown to supporters in checkout and on the page

  • A Goal Meter counts matched value as gifts arrive

  • Live social proof as supporters give

Advent

Your Advent appeal is one of a few that carry the year, and most people arriving on your site during it never reach the appeal page.

  • Elements placed anywhere on your site, so the appeal is visible wherever someone lands

  • A scheduled Popup that runs for the season and retires on its own

  • Matching configured for the appeal, with the multiplier shown to supporters

  • Recurring offered inside the appeal, when Advent brings first-time givers

Lent

Traffic builds for weeks before Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and holds through the season, often against a match, and some of it comes from supporters taking on a challenge and asking others to back them.

  • Matching rules and limits set once for the season

  • Peer-to-peer pages for supporters taking on a Lenten challenge

  • Elements that convert traffic across the whole build-up, not just the peak

Thanksgiving

An appeal that runs into the weeks before Giving Tuesday and year-end.

  • Campaigns that carry across the full sequence

  • Virtual Terminal for gifts taken over the phone

  • Supporter data syncing to your CRM as gifts arrive

We saw a 203% increase in recurring donors just one month after implementing Fundraise Up. More importantly, it showed us how to turn donors into lifelong supporters and bring more people into our fundraising pipeline.

Fundraise Up retains 99% of existing recurring donors through a migration, handled by a dedicated migrations team at no cost.

Clear pricing, no contracts

No contracts and no subscriptions. Every feature is included. What you pay is tied to what you raise, so it stays proportional as giving grows or slows.

FAQ

Can supporters give from a donor-advised fund?

Yes. DAFpay is available in checkout for US organizations and US supporters, on one-time donations in USD. A supporter selects their fund, signs in, and approves the grant without leaving your giving flow.

Do you support sponsorship programs?

Sponsorships is coming. Today, organizations run sponsorship programs as recurring gifts to a designation, which covers the giving side but not sponsor-to-beneficiary communication or re-matching. Talk to us about what your program needs.

What happens to our recurring donors if we switch mid-year?

Recurring plans are migrated by a dedicated team at no cost, and Fundraise Up migrations retain 99% of existing recurring donors through the move.

Does Fundraise Up work for our denomination?

The platform doesn’t assume a tradition. Campaigns, designations, and giving frequencies are configured by your team, so the calendar and the language are yours.

Can supporters cover the transaction cost?

Yes, and it’s optional and configurable. Adaptive cost coverage uses AI to determine which supporters see the prompt, and your organization can adapt the language that references transaction coverage.

Can we take gifts in person as well as online?

Yes. Giving Station turns a tablet into a self-serve giving point for a lobby or entrance. Tap to Donate, in early access, lets staff and volunteers take contactless gifts on a phone. Both record in the same donor record as online gifts.

Will Fundraise Up work with our CRM?

Fundraise Up syncs natively with Salesforce, HubSpot, Bloomerang, Neon, and others, plus a REST API.
