Can I show donors their home currency by default?
Yes, by default, Fundraise Up displays donation amounts in a donor’s local currency using geolocation.
Can I accept donations in currencies other than USD?
Yes, donors can give using 135 available currencies, and you can accept payouts in your nonprofit’s local currency.
Do you charge different rates for different payment methods?
Yes, this is because some payment methods such as cryptocurrency are bound to higher processing costs. We subsidize these costs where possible. Even when a donor gives using a payment method with a higher processing cost, there’s still a 92% chance that they will opt to cover those costs for your nonprofit.
Can donors change payment methods for recurring plans?
Yes! Using Donor Portal, a self-service dashboarding where donors can manage their recurring plans. Donor Portal makes it easy to switch payment methods, modify schedules for recurring plans, and make other changes, all without requiring donors to call or email your organization for help.
What currency are my payouts in?
Your payouts are delivered in the currency configured in your nonprofit’s Stripe account. You can view the 30+ countries supported for payouts at stripe.com/partners/fundraise-up
